It's cool to see everyone jump in and help. It's a shame these aggressive dogs can be kept in densely populated areas. Whether pit bulls become aggressive or not at some point in their lives seems like a total crap shoot, and while most never do get aggressive, too many do. There are plenty of breeds of dogs that are much safer statically, folks need to stop being so selfish and just choose another breed.

A few years ago I went to pick a stove once from a lady's house and as I got out of the truck the neighbors pit bull charged at me, it was all I could do to just stand still as a statue while this fucking maniac dog is charging at me over and over getting closer each time. By the time the lady got the beast distracted it was inches from my leg just standing in the same spot going absolutely insane, I could feel it's breath on my leg each time it barked. It was one of the most intense things I've ever experienced. One fucking twitch and that dog would have tore my ass to pieces.

Sure, but most people aren't pit bull owners and they seem to be okay with pit bulls, I just don't get it. You'll see a lot of people defending pits and other breeds because of their personal experience with one or a few dogs, all the while ignoring the overwhelming statistics and evidence.
