I don't think that babies are cute at all. They're very soft and shapeless, and have gaping toothless maws that constantly leak fluid. All they do is eat and excrete waste and can't even communicate. They also have spots in their skulls that can cave in if pressed too hard. How fucked up is that?

I love you.

Minus the parts about being toothless and replace "can't even communicate" with "can't communicate very well" and you have a pretty good description of the average American.

But it feels true. If you think that every American cannot properly communicate, then you are the one who is having problems

Can you imagine carrying a fetus? After a few months you can feel it move and press on your various organs. It sounds like a horror film.

Western culture encourages people to not display much outwards emotion and so a lot of people find they have trouble opening up to people. That's why so many Americans have depression and have to see therapists, to the extent that it's actually seen as normal in many places.
What you're choosing to ignore apparently on purpose is that when I said "properly communicate", I mean "communicate well" and not "make noises or gestures".

I've never heard the story idea that Americans are taught not to be emotional, and I disagree with that assumption. I'm my opinion, Americans are way too emotional and make decisions based on feels, not facts.

Yes it's true, people are taught to be individualistic and isolate themselves from others in the USA.

Would you say that the Japanese are more or less emotional than Americans?

Less emotionally mature, they're at the stage where they also need to be seeing therapists constantly but there is a strong cultural taboo against admitting weakness in any form so they all commit forest suicide instead.
