I am only pointing out that Religion often turns society to shit. Its often the cause of the worlds troubles. Take ISIS for instance currently.
Religion creates a mass of self righteous people. They then go on the march to convert OTHERS to their beliefs in order to save them. Kind of comical considering how they totally disregard their Founder.

It even gets more complicated, Think about the area where ISIS came into existence and the history of that area, the place and history of that place has been pretty bad and full of war. So i can't take ISIS existence as an example of religion going bad, rather i take the destructive effects of war as an example of making religion bad.

Mid east is a great example of aproblem without a solution. People of the same religion (Origin) then in just a few decades a disagreement and split of Sunni and Shi'a.
One considers the other as the Devil. And of course all branches of Muslims consider anyone who does not follow Allah even more of a Devil.
And one cannot forget how here in USA just because someone was black - Christians considered them animals and made them slaves. Hitler who was supposed to be Catholic - he went after the Jews - Again somewhat comical considering Catholics prayed to Jesus the Jew.
