An explosion shook a chemical plant in an industrial zone in China's Dongying, in Shandong province, shortly before midnight on Monday, according to state media.
There were no immediate reports of casualties. One person died last month after a blast hit a chemical plant in a different part of Shandong last month.
The Twitter account for People's Daily reported Monday night's explosion, as did state radio. Dongying's population is about two million.

Hardly. Matt left to his own devices will quickly flood a forum with crap without anybody feeding him attention. The ongoing mod attention is somewhat keeping him in check at the moment, otherwise it would be far worse.

Sure without mod attention it would be worse. I'm not talking about that, though. I'm talking with the current mod attention it is pretty much impossible to deal with some of this behavior. For example, it's very simple to delete one of his shitposts when it's just him. When it's gotten a dozen replies, and those replies got more of their own then the thread is officially derailed. He gets what he wants because people keep replying to him. It also feels wrong to delete so many replies at once. Things would be so much simpler if people could figure out to click the report button INSTEAD of the reply button.

I am pretty sure that some of them are shitposters too anyway, so it's not in their interest to stop.
Personally I think it would be much less of a headache all around to simply ban Matt for good. But I gather you're not really into that sort of moderation. Generally I agree, since it's a chan and all, but Matt seems like way more trouble than he's worth.

He also posts anonymously. And yes, only slightly annoying. He is a bit repetitive, but he mostly keeps to his own threads as far as I recall. If I'm wrong feel free to link me some examples.
