I'm sick of its stupid fucking smily fucking cunt fuck anchor fucking face in the most fucking important place and if I have to go into gconf one more time to look at the fucking ShowDockyItem key which is ALREADY set to false and makes no fucking difference or uninstall and reinstall one more time I'm going to go fucking insane

Navigate to “apps/docky-2/docky/items/DockyItem” in the gconf-editor
Uncheck “ShowDockyItem”
Restart Docky

Look at this shit
They put the icon FOR the dock program IN THE DOCK IT'S RUNNING
And you CANNOT FUCKING MOVE IT
It has to stay right there on the far left, which is the #1 spot for me
All it does is open the preferences for the dock but I've got it set how I need it and I don't need or want a big goofy anchor there any more
Apparently nobody knows how to do this nowadays because all the advice I've seen is to open gconf-editor and go to Apps>Docky-2>Docky>Items>DockyItem and set the boolean key ShowDockyItem to "false" and restart docky, except it was already set to false and toggling it back and forth does exactly jack shit

ok I did it
By removing Docky and installing Plank, then going to .config>Plank>Dock1>settings and changing "ShowDockItem" to false
