He was actually funnier back then because his schticks were still fresh. And he used to change schticks on a regular basis: he'd go from Bill Cosby Jello pudding pops to the Yaris to iDefrag to ghost hunting to how he was going to inherit $400 million when he got his Ph. D. He really used to mix it up. Today you can see he's a bitter broken shell of a man who just keeps pushing the same tired USAmerican schtick for 5 years now
