In USA dollars the 50,000 yuan was once worth $7825.71

Now her original 50,000 is worth $3.13

They say $3.13 is worth a lot in China.

@previous (Metæ)
I have a small box filled with rolls of old 50 cent pieces. They all contain silver - The only thing that stops me from taking them to a Gold-Silver store to get the current silver price is - Perhaps a few of them are worth even more because of some Rare value. Its just the time to unroll and look up each one by one. I need motivation.
Quick look up and Half Dollar – Kennedy 1965-1969 (40% silver) $1.50
Assuming that none of what I have are really considered Rare the range is probably $5 to $20 each but I also suspect many are the Kennedy's.

Used to keep a lot of change for parking meters.
Just looked up value of a non rare 90% Silver 50 cent piece - $9.66 based on today's silver price. Based on inflation - I have not really made any money holding those coins.
