I don't think it's as many people as you say. There's probably one or two that truly hate him. The rest is just random posters who every once in a while make some anti matt post for some quick lol's, or because matt has been obsessively shitposting.

If syntax left and posted on say, a yaris forum ,or some chinese forum, or started a food blog, who here would bother following him?
Matts obsessed followers seem to be diligent, resilient, and very experienced at hanging on to his every post, his every word. I think its sad, because their time would probably be better spent not caring about him or his stupid shit. Maybe they don't have alot in their lives though, and maybe they need him ,idk.
