But I refuse to spend more than $20. What should I buy?(Edited 25 seconds later.)
In that price range your choices won't be anything decent. Maybe just buy the cheapest swill they have and spend the rest on a decent chaser or mix.

Absolute bottom shelf, but I always drink it neat.
Just spend $3-$5 more and get jack.
I chase with coke or ice tea.

Thank you all. I got a handle of Grant Scotch whisky. I splurged a bit, it was $29.
Also Hater how is a handle (1.75L) of Jack only "$3-5 more" than $20?! It's $43.99 at my discount liquor store.

when i'm drinking that is.
@previous (squeegee)
I don't shoot as such, I pour it straight room temp into a highball glass and just sip it. I had a bottle or Kirin Ichiban and a glass of the aforementioned Grant's Scotch and I'm feeling all warm and lovely.
I used to drink...but then I wised up..
This thread made me pass the liquor store slowly today. I had to talk myself out of going in and getting liquor.
