Josephus mentions him, but some of it is a little dubious. Tacitus also mentions him, but writing from 116CE. Neither of them talk about marriage though. Plus there are all those gospels that didn't make it into the NT.

Josephus is very possibly a Christian forgery. They've done it with other works, also, Josephus wrote about him decades after his supposed death, so it still would've been Christian sources he used.
No one, not one shred of writing or any other evidence dates from the time Jesus actually lived that mentions him. He certainly never wrote anyhing, which really makes me question how any adult could believe he was god, until I remember people are fcking stupid garbage.

I agree. I just wanted to point out that the New Testament isn't really the only time someone was writing about him. (even within the canonical gospels, the synoptics have so much overlap that points to copying and re-copying from a few sources years after the fact that they're hardly a "record" either)
