notice "the Green Place" in the movie was originally called Gynotopia and was founded by and ruled by an "enlightened" society of women. He calls it their last hope for the women to thrive, far removed from "the terror of the bleak male domain."interesting stuff, you can really see how intentional all of the feminist themes were.

that's an interesting take on it, lol. nice reversal. but you'll really need to show a lot of support for the women being privileged, but i will agree that there's a man making a sacrifice to enable the largest accomplishment in the movie: women seizing power

The Brides and furiosa are privileged. She drives the war rig. Is the only warrior who seems to not be a pawn. The brides live in luxury, and are protected by Imorten Joe, sure there's a price, but obviously their old home could not protect them, so had it not been immorten joe, it would've been someone else. They had it extremely good. They were healthy.
They were naive about the world. They expected the green place to be different, but that was a myth. The woman weren't any different, they kill men to survive as well. The one bride even mentioned how she thought it would be different there. They went from having plenty of protein and veggies and being safe and protected (Privileged) to their deaths. They would have died. Even if they hadn't decided to make a death run over the dried up ocean (the salt flats) they couldn't have survived in that world. They weren't hardened like furiosa and the women warriors. They would have been a burden and perished or been stolen or bartered.
The simple fact is, the end result is them returning home, back to the safety and security they abandoned foolishly. Yes, in the movie it works out, but that was with a great deal of luck. The smart decision would have been to remain. They had it better than everyone except immorten joe and his sons, and possibly te other leaders of the bullet farm and gas town.

damn. nicely done. they were naive weren't they. and they were as bad as the men, they did kill a lot of people acquiring their power. interesting. and yeah, even though there were basically slaves they were clean, healthy, cared for and fed.

If we look for an ideal state, sure they had it bad, but if we look at it relative to how others lived, they were very privileged.
Plenty of the scavengers would have taken dick from immorten joe for such sanctuary.

In my opinion, what demonstrates a feminist outlook (not modern feminist, but say 70s-90s feminism) is that the female warriors were no different than the male counterparts. They killed to survive, same as them.
