I don't get why the MRAs are mad. It makes no sense. The women were foolish idiots who didn't realize how privileged they were. It worked out in the end because of Max and the sacrifice of the war boy. Sure, Charlize Theron was a bad ass, but thats not something to get mad about. She's still hot.

In a way, maybe breeding/sex slaves, but they had It better than most of the other people in the movie. They were the cleanest and healthiest. They clearly got their fair share of milk.
Having to fuck the alpha make is a small price to pay for protection and stability. Their fates would've been far worse without protection. It was really furiosa who fucked up. The girls were naive.
It worked out in the end, though.

She realized the mistakes they made. The reality, which she hadn't even known the full extent of yet, was far worse than their current lot.
Immorten Joe wasnt all bad. He loved his children. He's the only one who mourned the death of the one bride. Sure, he kept them as possessions, but they had huge value. I imagine it was just as much for their own protection as it was for his personal wishes.

Its unethical according to our current zeitgeist. That was not always the case.
