What you're saying is that you only pay lip service to washing your hands because you're expected to, not because you're covered in bacteria.

I apologise Anonymous H, on reflection I forgot how uncommon it is to wash hands thoroughly. I picked this habit up during my years of work in kitchens preparing food and it's the natural way for me to do it now.
