Bernie doesn't seem like he has what it takes to deal with republicans.
Bernie's hearts in the right place, but they've shown with Obama they're willing to be completely unreasonable. I mean, that type of shit was always common before but never to that extent.
We need a president with balls. One who woudlnt be shouted down by a bunch of ignorant folks at a social security rally. Hillary is probably the better choice, but since healthcare reform got fucked by Obama that's out, and that was my major hope for her since that was her pet cause as First Lady (only First Lady I can think of who had anything beyond a bullshit "let's help the kids" waste of tax payer money).
Shame she's probably corrupt as fuck, but same could be said about bill and he got shit done.

Bernie's ideas are too extreme, he's going to run into opposition from the Republican party, and even from a lot of people more towards the middle. I think he has a lot of fine ideas, but having the correct ideological answer, and the correct practical answer are two different things. Bank Bail outs are a necessary evil for example, and good arguments can be made for occupying foreign lands, as well as the Patriot act.
