For the oversaturation of the Star Wars franchise?
We have Episode VII this December. Rogue One next Christmas. Episode VIII and Episode IX. Plus Disney has plans for three live action series on Netflix as well as more Anthology films.
And a brand new ”Star Wars Land” for Disneyland park in Anaheim, California as well as Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
I hope we don't get tired of the abundance of a galaxy far far away.

Not really, not like it is since the buyout. 1977 only spawned the initial film which lead to two sequels and merchandise. It wasn't until 1999 when the preqeuls started and merchandise continued. The EU didn't seem like it was going to be in your face. Now you're going to hear about it every time you move passed a cinema.

yeah... i'm glad to see hard-core scifi getting some love. lots of good movies and tv shows and games, and most of it is in front of us rather then us being in the middle. but i do hope it's not just a trendy fad, like zombies, that's grow old in a year or two. hopefully the variety of good content is going to keep people from feeling drowned in the genre.
i think disney is well on the way to making people sick of it though, and that kinda sucks. probably we'll have a good multi-year run of high-sci-fi with lots of space operas, big budgets and awesome stories.
and then westerns will return or something...

Lots of good Disney PKD coming soon, though.
Neo-westerns, mmmm.

i'd be cool with space-westerns, but no more terrestrial sci-fi please.

Have Bioware or Obsidian create a real new KotOR game, and then, perhaps, I shall truly car. Thanks.

Could Bethesda pull it off? ;P

I dunno. They're more about big, open worlds than the engaging stories and moral choices of Bioware and Obsidian. I think that, if Bethesda made it as a Bethesda game, it'd be a different kind of KotOR.

Electronic Arts will probably make a Kotor reboot.

They've already got a KotOR game going. The KotOR MMO by Bioware, which is still getting updates.

Here is the cast for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Hasn't received good reviews and is free to play.
Plus I wouldn't be surprised if they don't just want to restart everything from scratch considering the new continuity.

Obviously it's going well enough. It's even got another major expansion coming in October, so the logical assumption is that it's making a nice amount of money.
Believe me, I'd love for SW:tOR to end and re-open the possibility of a real KorOR game being made. But I just don't see that happening in the foreseeable future. Though maybe another company will come in and do something similar.

Why would another company make a Kotor game?
Disney would probably just give EA the rights to make future Star Wars games.
Do you think there will ever be an Elder Scrolls VI?

No, I meant a game similar to KotOR. A single player RPG. Admittedly, it's not exactly a probable thing, but I like to hope. A little while ago, Obsidian said they'd like to do another Star Wars game, for example.
Of course there will be another Elder Scrolls, but not for a while. It's all about Fallout 4, right now.

There are rumors of an Elder Scrolls VI for next year's E3.
And EA will probably be handling all of the Star Wars game for now on.

Huh, I don't know about that. Bethesda recently said that it would be a "long time" before they were talking about new things. An Elder Scrolls announcement next year would be awesome, but it seems a bit quick.

If you just meant the Elder Scrolls, then sort of. Zenimax Online made the Elder Scrolls Online, an MMO. ZO is a separate team to Bethesda's developers, but both are a part of Zenimax.

i was wondering how long in between big releases for them. about 5 years. i was reading about their game engine and they've just been iterating on it for a decade, but, it has forked, and their current fork started with Skyrim. So fallout 4 will be their most advanced version of it. but all their pre-fork stuff was done up to about 2010 or something, then came skyrim. probably they could have another elder scrolls ready to go in a year or two, and since fallout 4 is mostly done they'll have moved most of their in-house people onto another project.
i might be wrong though, fallout 4 might actually be the first game with their newest engine fork. can't recall. but it'll probably be 2 years before we see another bethesda studio game. maybe 3. they'll get to ride fallout for a long time and doom will do well too. but yeah, i would wager another elder scrolls is in the making.
