But why did you do it? Don't you think just getting an online GED puts you at a huge disadvantage. GEDs these days are like high school drop outs 20 years ago. A bachelor's degree is like the new high school diploma, and I know people with master's degrees who are busing tables.

If I may offer a word of advice, put everything you've got into those online courses you're taking. When it comes to education, you get what you put in, and I'd hate to see you fall behind when you go back because you didn't get as much out of an online education as you could have gotten out of supervised classes. Good luck.

That's exactly what worries me. That's why a lot of people struggle when they go from a shitty school to a real school.
If I ever have kids, I might home school them. I normally hate home schooling, because it's mostly done by creationists and self-righteous soccer moms, but with my education I think I'm more qualified than most teachers, and I can give them more individual attention than most teachers. I think they should make people get licenses to home school.
