Topic: The Mandela Effect and Alternate Timelines.

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago #44,579

This has been getting a lot of attention recently due to the Berenstein bears www.buzzfeed.com/perpetua/mandela-effect#.vdbjlb80Yy it's interesting for sure and I'm certain I'm from a another universe where dilemma was spelt 'dilemna' http://dilemna.info/

> "some people" misremember something
> it's alternate universes!
Hmm, no. I'm not closed off to the idea of alternate universes possibly existing, but this is terrible reasoning.

I misremembered something so there must be a parallel world!

This is a fascinating look at Dr. Calhoun's mouse utopia experiment.

I definitely remember dilemma being spelt with an 'n'. I think this may have something to do with CERN, they are changing realities and merging parallel universes. Not only that, but the world map is wrong. Australia used to be in the middle of nowhere with no islands north of it and New Zealand was to the northeast. Cuba was half the size and China was larger, Russia smaller in my reality.

Lol these are all retarded

Like wow people not from the USA don't know much about US geography! People always used to say there were 51, but that's because they're ignorant. I thought there were 51 stars on the flag but I guess not.

And who thought Wales and Scotland were smaller lmao, they only expect that because the population is small

And berenstein is an actual name and berenstain isn't so they autocorrect in their head because that's how the the brain works

And idiots mix up two months that start with A shocker

Even the cover of this book teaches us an important lesson: no one want to see the disgusting things that you should be doing alone. Look how disapprovingly the other bears look at the fool. And with good reason: no one wants to see the disgusting things that you should be doing alone. Flossing your teeth, picking at your butthole, all that shit.

And wash your fucking hands often.

Even anatomy is changing, the kidneys used to be in the lower back and the heart in the left side of the chest www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11577&garpg=7

So it was just a Fluke that Doctor did something backwards and forward? Is this implying that the Doctor is Sapian in nature?

No, people are just plain stupid. They're so stupid and over-confident in themselves that they'd rather believe that they're jumping between parallel universes than believe that they could be wrong about something.

The world map IS wrong. It completely changes peoples perception of the size of countries because it is a sphere unwrapped as a rectangle and fucks it all up.

Look at a globe, and then look at a map. Africa is much larger than you realize, for example

That article was absolutely fucking retarded. Wales being East of Scotland made me laugh. Americans' geography is so terrible.

The Tank Man having been run over is equally hilarious. Part of the reason it's such a well-known event is because the tank refused to run over the guy. He was whisked away buy a bunch of plainclothed men and nobody knows what happened to him.

I guess people think of words like solemn, hymn, etc. and assume dilemma must have a similar spelling... for some reason.
