As someone who has no hobbies (outside masturbation and video games), and who does not endeavor to excel in finances or social pursuits, I have found I have what many would consider to be "no life." Though, it is largely by choice, and I do no wish for any other life save winning the lottery.

I don't see why video games or other "nerdy" things can't be legitimate, fulfilling hobbies. So, for me, I guess that having "no life" would be defined as somebody who is a NEET, doesn't socialise and just stays at home.
And I come close, to be in one way. I don't really have a IRL social life to speak of at the moment. But I am in education, employment and training right now, so I guess that qualifies as "having a life".
