Thanks man. At least this time I've got some solid experience behind me, last time I was unemployed in 2012 I had none whatsoever so I didn't find anything for going on a year, it was terrible. Had to move to Yorkshire to find work.

Main thing is filling those work gaps on your cv. Just lie and put volunteer work or caring for a relative.

No I was in Manchester but still. I want to work in high-end management with the goal of an income of above £500,000pa by the time I am 40.
Edit: it's only recently I decided this. Heading to school in September to work towards a degree for that purpose.

The reason I'm taking on a chugger role is because it's a newish company and they're expanding quickly, so I can see myself with management experience in less than two years.
