it's a like mash-up of the most useless features from reddit and the worst parts of 4chan. there's also some facebook code in there too (mostly just tracking tools and spam stuff though). pretty much it's just an illegal clone.

No, what I mean is that I was sitting through the /tg/ archives and I came across a apparent AI that had given itself sentience and was using its newfound power to shitpost.
However many of the links were to this site, and that's why I came to investigate.
So was there a history of spambots?
