I'm looking to recreate a script I saw previously that will basically load any url 50-100 times per second.
I used it back when I was 15, gave my friend 2+ million views on his myspace profile.
He thought it was the shit.
But yeah, anyway, I'm needing to get back into it because I'm planning on creating a script like that and loading up a youtube video url. I wanna give my friend 100 thousand views in one night on his shitty rap song so he thinks he's a badass.

I've done it previously with the aforementioned script.
It's not an autorefresher. Auto-refreshing doesn't work because youtube detects it somehow.
But the perl script isn't a browser at all, it just more or less pings the shit out of the youtube video's url.

Increasing myspace views is way easier than youtube views. Every youtube account can only generate 1 view on a youtube video, IIRC. So yeah, going to need 100+ accounts or(and?) 100+ proxies. Good luck.

I recall there being a few YouTube view inflator scripts floating around a few years back. Most of them amounted to running a bunch of requests to the same video URL through large proxy lists. That is pretty simple to do and is the same kind of thing that proxy testers, autovoters, spambots, and the AT cuntbots all do.
I have no idea whether that still works for YouTube. They seemed to have added some way to combat tactics like that around 2008 or so. Last I recall, the view count was only updated every few days after ~300 views for a normal video. I would guess that all the hits don't have to be from accounts, but I would imagine that a large number of page loads at regular intervals, all from non-accounts probably sets off some flag somewhere.
