Charles Manson said no such things. He was just a dude who did drugs and fucked the hell out of young white women. Some people he lived with had some crazy ideas and started to treat him like a prophet or someshit, and one of those women in a fit of hysteria blamed Manson for actions he neither was involved in or planned.

Lots of things were claimed, but perhaps you're unfamiliar with how prosecutors in the US operate, they lie and make shit up.

There were no dune buggies with guns mounted on them. The only evidence was the word of a criminal who was involved in a mass murder. She blamed everything on Manson, but there was zero evidence of any cult like activity.

Read the book manson's lawyer wrote. Manson was railroaded, though he hurt himself by protesting the trial and acting crazy.
