So if you go out of your way to help women, women can possibly achieve as much as men? Gotcha. Makes sense.
It's interesting that they present having a child like it's not a negative. A woman who has a child has to take some time off work. It's definitely soemtbing that interferes and shouldn't be protected by law IMO. There is truth that allowing for that can help retain quality employees, but at places like McDonald's or other low wage employment, I think firing someone because they get pregnant is a good business decision, and the laws should be changed to reflect that.

When will women just stop fucking complaining and work as hard as men and shut the hell up about it?

Never. They get praised for complaining, and my limited experience with women (TVs and Movies and pornography) tells me they complain a lot as it is.

But we need those damn kids man. Society needs them. Man, if all countries had as low birth rates as japan? You what would happen? Absolute chaos dude. Absolute chaos and we would all be in the middle of it!

Look, I love kids, but I would be a lot more comfortable if none were around.
Also, it won't stop people from breeding, just breeding irresponsibly. Wealthy individuals who are in demand will be granted maternity leave, poor people will get abortions.

What you said is so damn wrong. I am speechless i am. Its not about society running out children to inherit wealth that is the problem, its society running out of people to do the jobs that needs to be done.

It's more like they're trying to remove obstructions to the women, so that they can better reach their full potential.
As for pregnancies, employers should just ha r to deal with it IMO. I understand there's a legislate business concern in there, but at the same time I'm far more worried about the potential for pervasive and awful discrimination that would result from legalising "let's not hire any women because they might get pregnant".
Anonymous F replied with this 11 years ago, 7 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[^][v]#582,166
I don't see it as pervasive discrimination, i see it as pervasive greed that capitalism produces. You know, his dehumanizing effect.

Yes. It's a lifestyle choice they can make. It shouldn't only apply to women, men should have to sign a contract they won't be the primary care taker as well.
Pregnant women can't perform their job duties. The hormones makes them irrational. That's not sexist, it's just a fact that women become fucking insane.

I may have misunderstood a bit. I thought you were saying that all women should be considered employment risks because they might get pregnant. If you're saying that the low-wage jobs would be justified on letting pregnant women go, then that's not as bad. But I am still unsure about it.
I wasn't denying that pregnancy can potentially impair a job.

Abortion is proof of female empathy. If they murder innocent babies, what would they do to a man? Take half his assets and force him to pay her a ridiculous monthly check that he cannot pay?

It is necessary because back alley abortions are even worse. You can't really stop abortions yet. All we can hope for are artificial wombs, and maybe then we'd be free from having to outright murder babies.

You do realise that an embryo and even a fetus is a very simple form of life, yes? Comparing it to murdering an actual, born baby is an incorrect comparison.
Though, above that, the life of the mother is more important than the unborn child that hasn't even begun to live. Why force mothers to ave children they don't want, and in many cases won't be able to properly care for? It is a bad outcome for both of them.

Giving a free implant is a good idea. But there is no reason for trying to keep people from getting abortions.
Slightly off topic: in Japan abortion is right below condoms in terms of family planning there. They abort about a third of their children conceived.
