All this proud to be white/black + racism talk is fucking ridiculous. I think its okay to be proud of your race/skin because you know i think people who say that they are, just really suck at expressing their emotions, they probably just mean that they have hope and respect for whatever arbitrary bitch group they identify, there i said it and i mean it. Thanks.
Very good point. Personally i look at people who advocate that sort of thing as perverts. Think about it, at the heart of their imagined utopia, sex plays a key role.

If you worked hard to get your ethnicity, then you can be proud of it. For example, no one is allowed to be called Slavic until they perform three arduous tasks.

I don't really understand being proud of bring a race that's history is utter defeat.
I'm not proud I'm white, I don't even think about it unless it gets brought up. I don't know that it would even make sense as I don't know my personal ancestry.

seriously, notice what groups bring up pride: people who feel like their group is a minority or some kind of historical loser. The drive towards promoting pride is attempt to tamp down self-hatred, or at least, the feeling of being a loser in a loser group. People who are not growing up with group-loser status, or those people who are more individualistic or separated from obvious grouping don't give thought to pride for pride's sake, which would be just arrogance from someone who already feels like a winner.
