I've never stolen anything from a store in my life, but virtually everyone I know has at one point in their lives. It's not really a big moral issue with me, it's just kind of pointless and not worth the trouble; it's risky and I'd feel guilty later when I came in the store.

For me, it depends. Chapstick shouldn't be $6 for two small items that cost 25 cents to make. That's ridiculous. I like to defraud companies just for the fuck of it though. Well, actually a wireless adapter for the Xbox 360 shouldn't be sold for $100. I'd pay $40 maximum. My ASUS USB wireless cost $20 brand new.

Seriously, this. Where the heck are you shopping? Are you in NY or something? Is your only option Chapstick-brand chapstick?

That said, small items can be palmed and slipped up your cuff rather easily. Stay nonchalant and friendly if you do.
And only ever lift from large companies (Walmart etc). Their surveillance system is bullshit, and they're insured up the ass. Taking from mom & pop shops is much worse karma, if you've got to do it.

It was from Target, but still shouldn't be that much. Also, 1 in every 4 cameras in Walmart is real. I can tell fake cameras from real, I don't know how, so don't ask. Mom and pop shops are expensive because they rely on actual customers to pay for their stuff and for a living. I don't steal from liquor stores or 7-11 stores or anything though. It's just stupid. Well, I mean bottle runs seem fine, but I've never done it myself.

I guess all in all, what I do technically is not morally right, but I could give a fuck less. Downloading an album of music isn't legal either, but yet I bet almost everyone has done it once. Why pay for the music when I can listen to it free off of Pandora or Grooveshark or YouTube or even the radio? Right?
