You know how you usually go to McDonalds, buy a burger and it's some sloppy mess that has been slapped together with the top bun half way off the meat and practically glued down with cheese/sauce making it possible to correct... The cashier is rude, acne covered, doesn't make eye contact and you can see that the food you're buying has been waiting on that little rack thing they have for God knows how long.

I went to McDonalds today, got a Big Mac meal... Well, the cashier called me "mate" and wished me a good afternoon, which was quite surprising. The burger was actually put together correctly, looking like it is supposed to. There were even a couple of cute shotas for me to watch while eating. (Yes, the food is complete shit, of the lowest possible quality and filled with preservatives and tons of other nasty shit. I am fully aware of this.)

Anyway, I ate that shit, got the fuck out of there and smoked a massive doob. Fin.

I noticed that new employees who are tryign to impress their bosses will be more polite, and they will build a better burger. He will lose that politeness and care soon enough and will become another anti-social McDonald's drone when he realizes that trying to advance in McDonald's, besides being completely pathetic, is absolutely useless. The supervisors are all douche bags who expect you to quit within a month, so they are very reluctant to give you even the slightest raise or promotion.

McDonald's is evil.

I knew a girl who worked at McDonalds, she said their treatment of staff was pretty good (I can't remember all the details but there was a ton of shit she lectured me about)... What country are you talking about? Maybe the management varies.

I live in the States.

McDonald's is a franchise, so each individual restaurant is usually under different ownership. They are allowed to, for the most part, run the restaurant how they like (while still adhering to certain McDonald's guidelines). I must have worked under a tyrant lol.
