hey guys, it's Logan. I just wanted to give you some updates on what's going to be happening on my channel from here.
So, I probably won't be doing daily videos, because, well, my computer's getting laggier and laggier and that's because, umm, videos.
so, i mean, what i usually do is, so, i edit it and i download the finished thing onto my computer, upload it and then i delete that.
So, ummm, that kind of frees up some space, but what I dont' free up is umm the the actual videos. If you're familliar with the iMovie, I've got like, about a thousand.
So, it'll take me too long to delete all of them umm but I thought what would be easier is, i mean i only had like 4 videos on my editing that i havent finished yet
so at this moment while im recording this im also downloading them onto my computer so sorry if this is a bit laggy for you guys umm if i uhh I'll i'll just put annotations or subtitles ifg its too laggy
umm and err uhh im gonna be uninstalling the application, reinstalling it and then yeah i've got a brand new application so uhh i dont know why uhh uhh ii i get sensitive about it for some reason that its its like uhh
i also went to go and see inside out today so its like my emotions are battling in my head they're like 'this is sad' this is like sadness 'no you shouldn't do it' and but then joy's like 'gonna need more space' and i dont know im weird.
aaand so, i dont' know how much times ive said im weird anyway so yeah its just I don't know how it would be depressing but it just eeuugh I dont know how to explain it like i feel like weird like uninstalling the application its just i dont know sorry if i just like pause out of nowhere and sorry if sorry if this is sorry if this video is boring since its like uninstalling right now i dont have my editing. idk, it's weird. i'll tell you what, i had an odd experience with streaming. So briefly i was streaming Star Citizen gameplay, usually i'd get on for like an hour and just stream whatever. i sometimes had the twitch chat open and would talk with people, but usually i didn't. i'd just fly around and shoot shit up and didn't worry about being "entertaining" or even doing a good job. i wouldn't even say goodbye, i'd just kill the stream. i was not a very interactive personality at all when i was doing that.
but one day i got on the game website and i had several PMs from people. fucking fans
they were telling me how awesome i was and asking me questions and we're asking really specific questions about certain tactics i was using. like, this one guy really was paying attention, he'd identified several "maneuvers" that i was doing and he was right, they are actual planned maneuvers that have repeatability. But, they weren't able to duplicate it, so, i told him exactly what markers to look for and gave him my timings and all that.
then, he praised me very highly and called me "his hero" and said he hoped to be as good as me. it was all just way too much and over the top. I'm not even that good, there's way more people better than me. and i'm not interactive. i just couldn't (and still don't) know where all that praise was coming from. it was very surreal, and i can only imagine what it's like to have strangers walk up to real celebrities and fawn all over them. must be... i don't even know.
anyway, i had to kinda quit streaming like that. i wasn't like wanting to attract a following of any kind, but i ended up with a very small handful of dedicated fans. in hindsight i probably could have modded them, talked to them and tried to be a personality like all the other streamers who "put on shows". i think it's that you end up attracting people like moths to a flame. all you have to do is light a match, and these days all you have to do is put up some videos and you'll at least get one or two people fluttering about. And see like i had to quit because i started to feel like i was needing to be entertaining. like once i realized i had like real people treating me like an entertainer i felt like i needed to be doing more to entertain them. like put forth an effort or something. so i kinda think i just got creeped out a bit or it made me feel exposed or something. idk.
i bet if you're 8 and you see 150 followers you probably aren't savvy enough to know that you're not any kind of a big deal. he probably felt like he had an obligation to his followers. idk. anytime someone makes a "goodbye" video or something i always get the impression they think they are more important than they are. who the fuck cares if you quit making videos. no one is on the edge of their seat waiting for the next one, people just randomly happen across whatever you put up there. if you haven't made a video in 3 years i can figure it out with watching your retirement vid.

Squeegee, you're my hero! When you're posting on Minichan, whether it's in a serious debate or just shitposting, I can't help but be blown away by your wit and intellect! You gotta tell me, what techniques are you using? You always seem to hold your own in a debate, do you have any specific arguments of resources you commonly rely on to reach your high level? I'd love to be as good as you!
Anyway, thanks for your posts, man. I've tuned in for pretty much all of 'em so far. Looking forward to seeing more of them!

at the time i streamed because there were very few SC streamers and i wanted to help just be a part of the early scene to pump up the viewership. i actually got a lot of views because so many people wanted to see the early gameplay and not many people had the PCs to stream it yet. but now there's like dedicated everyday streamers and shows and competitions and all kinds of stuff and i don't feel the need to be another face on the field. there's enough now.
at the time i streamed because there were very few SC streamers and i wanted to help just be a part of the early scene to pump up the viewership. i actually got a lot of views because so many people wanted to see the early gameplay and not many people had the PCs to stream it yet. but now there's like dedicated everyday streamers and shows and competitions and all kinds of stuff and i don't feel the need to be another face on the field. there's enough now.

basically i follow the tactics paul used to write his letters. First i act incredulous and assume everyone is decadent and arrogant. then i'll threaten everyone, call them motherfuckers and then issue vague legal threats. Then i go on and on about how right i am and how listening to other people is ignorant. After that i tell everyone how they ought to live their lives in a very specific and managed sort of way. i get as personal as possible, talking about circumcision and virginity and sexual relations. then i pick out which cat picture to post.
