Saw this little kid ranting about the sims 4. He has many videos of himself. Its not too unreasonable to expect with a little bit of certainty who some of his subscribers are, is it?

I was looking at foot fetish videos on YouTube and one recommended video was three young girls doing yoga.
some of the comments were inappropriate, so yes I do believe some viewers are attracted to them. Literally every channel likely has viewers that watch solely because they find the person or people in the video attractive.
Other than leaving inappropriate comments (regardless of the age of the participant in the video), what's the harm?

If i am to be a pessimist. I would say that the act itself is the harm. Its the mixing of adult worlds into kid worlds. To try and be a little funny i would give you an example of a adult porn channel that nonetheless dedicates 1 hour each day to children's cartoons for the children of the parents who subscribe to that porn channel.
The harm, is the absurd reality where ethics and morality seems to be disintegrating.

Huh? Harm has to have some impact. Though, I believe that any attractive child on YouTube likely will be receiving creepy messages. I don't think Children's accounts should have private messages and the like.
There are too many people who are inappropriate. In fact, I recall a rumor about a female admin of a certain fora sending messages to delightful young lasses....

Well it does have impact. Subtle impacts. Like in the case of you, not that i am judging you, you seem rather relaxed about pedophiles using youtube. So a pessimist might think that this whole situation is creating a apathetic environment when it comes to children and pedophiles.

Op, I think that at least a third of non related adults that follow children on youtube are either full pedo, or circumstantial pedo.

I don't think it's ok if the adults are being inappropriate in anyway, but being fans? Why not?
Granted, there is a huge issue with Internet creeps. people that no matter what will say and do inappropriate things, but why should that ruin things for others? I don't think kids should be banned from YouTube, but I would say that minor accounts probably shouldn't be able to PM non-minor accounts, or maybe they should need a parents email connected to the account that gets a copy of all PMs.
Edit: Nevermind. I don't know why I said that. It's not how I actually feel. The parents of the children should be monitoring their child's online activity themselves. It's their responsibility. Disregard.

Oh okay. The whole reason for this thread is though that actually i was creeping myself out. I was like, huh, cute kid. Then i clicked his channel and then all of the sudden i realized that i was sort of stalking a little boy because i thought he was cute. Maybe thats okay for girls and women to do, but not boys nor men. Its a big no no i would argue.

Hmm, circumstantial predators aren't really aroused by children but rape them because of access. They're not considered pedophiles by psychologists. There are people who are attracted to adults and kids, but they aren't circumstantial offenders, they're just child predators who are also attracted to adults.

Being a pedophiles means you are sexually attracted to children. Some adult offenders who rape children arent attracted to kids, they feel the same way about children as most people, but they have access to a child so they use them like a sex toy. Like, no one (well, maybe that isn't true) is attracted to a fleshlight, but they still get off in one.
You shouldn't call them pedos, you should use the term "child predator" otherwise, you are supporting bigotry of pedosexuals.

If I had a personal account I would sub a friend, but my yt account is a detached bs thing so I don't. There's nothing really interesting on it, a few emulator videos and an anime OP theme. And yet somehow I still managed to get 17 subscriptions.
