When I was younger I stole a thousand dollars from my parents over a few years.
My dad beat me, though. They deserved it as silence for not reporting him to the police. They never said anything about it. I dunno if they blamed my brothers or what.

Sucks to have a violent dad i bet. So meh, i wouldn't feel so bad about stealing money from your parents. Especially just 1000 dollars. Probably the most unethical thing i am doing now is being on benefits and not looking for a job.

I loaned my mom a lot more that she didn't payback when I was moving out of the house, which really screwed me so it evened out anyway.

Padded my hours at a job. I justified it to myself because I was doing a job that was supposed to be for two people so what's wrong with borrowing an extra hour here or there? I was working for a subcontractor and filled out my own time sheets which were signed off on by a manager who worked on the other side of the city and never even came to my area. He just approved whatever I sent in. I didn't really report to anyone in the facility I worked in so it went unnoticed.
I still think I was in the right because they have no idea the shit and stress I went through trying to do two different jobs simultaneously.
