There are chemicals that are very carcinogenic. If you can poison the food of the victim regularly, well then there is no other outcome that you get away with murder.
RWBY Rhubarb !!iNo3FkiZx joined in and replied with this 11 years ago, 5 minutes later[^][v]#577,631
But then the police will merely look at who had access to the person's food on a regular basis. And if there's any evidence of you acquiring the poison, then you're surely fucked.

Not so sure about this. I think though that with a little research, it would be easy to know which chemicals.

Okay so there is an investigation if the cancer is aggressive and the victim is young. Especially for the rarer cancers.
Here's the problem, many of those chemicals burn the skin or mucus membranes, taste very bad, and break down when heated.

So, you're saying it's easy to get ahold of cancer-inducing chemicals, and then regularly and secretly poison the food of the person you want to kill?
Also, whilst I don't know about this sort of thing, wouldn't they find the poison when they ran tests?
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 11 years ago, 3 minutes later, 23 minutes after the original post[^][v]#577,638
I really doubt that kook. Young people, very young people, get aggressive cancer all the time. Its not like they have detectives who specialize in cancer related murders. As for the visiablility of those cancerous chemicals? I guess the trick would be very low doses for a long time.
Yes i am sure that its easy to get hold on such chemicals. They can surely run tests, but the trick is to stop poisoning them once cancer has developed inside them.

No I said that it would be hard to hide such chemicals in food. Also many of them would cause tremors and shit that would make people investigate for pesticides and stuff like that.

How do you know what they have investigators for? We had a 20 year old with a massive brain tumor and they checked her house and interviewed her friends and family.

pesticides! Now there is a suggestion for easily attainable chemicals. They could cause tremors but like i said, the key point is to poison the victim in micro doses for a long time. If the killer would be worried about being outed, he could have some kind of decoy that would make it look like he accidentally poisoned the victim with some personal grown apples.
I don't know it. I however know that there are many things that do cause cancer. Everyday things in fact.

But the victim would likely have many visits to the doctor for side effects long before cancer sets in. Also the cancer might not even kill the victim.
They were looking for causes.
Maybe you could sneak into someones house after dark and make them sleep smoke two packs a night for twenty years. It would be the ultimate crime!

> Maybe you could sneak into someones house after dark and make them sleep smoke two packs a night for twenty years. It would be the ultimate crime!
Very funny. Strange how the tobacco companies get away with killing people isn´t it? Its almost like people have accepted cancer as a part of life. Entirely blameless. Who is to say the doctor is even trained to notice poisoning specially aimed at killing people with cancer.

To get away with sucha thing, you would need to be able to convince the victim to stay away from doctors for as long as possible. Like maybe offering or paying for "natural medicine" treatments or prayer therapy.
I dont like the idea of blaming tobacco companies for tobacco related illnesses. I mean alcohol has a part in many deaths, but people arent suing "big alcohol"
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 11 years ago, 6 minutes later, 54 minutes after the original post[^][v]#577,649
I really doubt i would have to convince the victim of anything. Maybe the chemical would cause fatigue, loss of appetite, even sexual dysfunction. That would be seen as depression.
> people arent suing "big alcohol"
I know, its like giving alcoholics alcohol all the time isn't a immoral thing to do, at least not as immoral as not paying taxes since that is punishable by law.

Probably the best way to get away with killing somebody would be to drive like 200 miles away from where you live, silently knife a lone homeless person at night and then drive home again. Maybe secure an alibi if you can get one.

I'm thinking the homeless person would be easier. My reasoning there is that with the homeless person, you can possibly catch them sleeping. The hooker is going to be awake, and probably fairly alert.

But generally the homeless are out in the open. With prostitutes they will get in your vehicle and voluntarily move to a second crime scene.

Good point, good point. But then, the prostitute might have friends nearby when she gets in your car. They generally try to look out for each other, right? Then you also have the risk somebody seeing her in your car, which can be traced right back to you.
Fuck, 200 miles away and zero personal connection and this is still complicated. Maybe just slink through secluded areas, hoping to find somebody by themselves?

We can't take that risk, m8! This needs to be completely clean. No possible witnesses!
Ahem. I mean, if one wanted a completely risk-free, clean murder, they'd need to ensure no witnesses to their movements and kill, and ensure that the victim had no opportunity to react or cry out.
What did you mean by second method? Wandering secluded areas? That'd surely pay off eventually, but I think for it to ideal, you'd only have to make one trip. Decreases the chances of anyone seeing you.

You could wait in a storm with a broken down car, next to the ocean. When someone comes and you manage to get a ride you tie her up at gunpoint, you make the car go into the ocean and when she is finished drowning you just remove the harness.

People kill prostitutes for a reason. You'd probably have to kill a homeless person right on the street.
The wandering secluded area method is successful for repeat offenders. Places such as wooded areas, late night bus stops, or parking garages.

That seems unnecessarily complicated. Not only would it be rare for people to stop for someone at the side of the road, but you would also be at at risk for being murdered yourself. You'd actually wait for the car to submerge and then swim down to try and fiddle with rope?

The harness could be a salt based one, something that would dissolve. Plus it need not be tightly secured because the freezing ocean would quickly remove any chances of survival.

Anonymous G replied with this 11 years ago, 2 minutes later, 2 hours after the original post[^][v]#577,699
Just some part of the ocean that is freezing. It really might be a very simple harness, basically just like a regular big bag which is full of salt.Only need to put it on her and then she would not be able to move because of the weight.

Kook killed the humorous mood and then put a bag of salt on top of it and drove it into a freezing ocean. Don't worry though. The salt will soon dissolve and the humorous mood should float back up to the surface soon.
