fake_anon, I hope you can answer this.

Now there were probably several men going around Rome claiming to be then Messiah. Now if Jews never accepted Jesus being that Messiah and now await a first coming instead of a second coming like Christians are. How come they never latched onto one of the other ”messiahs”?

What might the world be like had the Jews who didn't believe in Jesus as the Messiah believed another man was? Would he had been crucified by the Romans too? Would we have two religions at arms for centuries arguing who the Messiah really was?

Or are Jews simply too smart to buy into cheap parlor tricks?
