I always thought about the possibility of each ASOIAF novel getting a movie adaption. Sometimes I wonder if that would happen right when the TV show ends as a sort of cash in. Of course, should movies come out they would have the luxury of knowing the full story as George would probably be done with the last two books by then.

I just recall one of our RAs walking into the TV lounge during the scene where she is cutting open the cactus and licking the juice out...

This was the same RA that would consistently walk in at the worst time during movies, (that weird gang rape scene in The Begotten, the eye cutting scene in Un Chien Andalou, or the numerous buckets of blood scenes in any of the cheesy horror movies we watched) so she was used to walking in and finding us watching something disturbing.
