He must have gotten tired of reading, too. He missed this part of the article I posted:

> An ICP (Internet Content Provider) license is a state-issued registration number that allows you to host your website on a mainland Chinese server. All sites hosted on a server in the Chinese mainland must, by law, apply for and receive one of these babies before their site goes live, a rule enforced at the hosting level. Getting an ICP license is an additional step that is taken after you buy your hosting and domain, but before your site goes live. ICP license numbers are usually displayed in the small print in website footers.

Given the flagrant violation in PRChina of copyright laws, product safety laws, intellectual property laws, environmental regulations, building codes, worker's rights, etc, etc, I'm not surprised people violate this one.

Here in supposed "Communist evil" China, the government is much more people-oriented. They will talk to you, reason with you, and work with you. Often, people get into shouting, and sometimes protests against the government, and the government just tries to work it out without an arrest. It is actually really good government here, much better than the violent US.

Anonymous O joined in and replied with this 11 years ago, 5 minutes later, 19 hours after the original post[^] [v] #576,037

They clearly aren't "people oriented" if you need a license to run a friggin' website.

They handled that Tianenmen Square thing pretty diplomatically. They only killed, what? 300 people including a 9 year old child. I mean, that guy walked right out in front of a tank and they stopped to let him cross! They used hollowpoint bullets, too, to minimize suffering of those they shot.

Why? I hate feminism too. We can be friends.

I support an end to gender norms, though, and I don't like sex or slut or sexuality shaming. I just hate modern feminists cause I think they demand idiotic ideas to have equal billing to rational ideas.

I'm also a bit of misogynist, but that's not my fault. It's just how I feel. Can't help it.
