The chairman of the party which is leaning on the right was recently interviewed. He talked about a lot of things but maybe the most noticeable thing of all was his plead to nationalism. He said that nobody
inside the icelandic parliament were beyond clouds while looking down on others. He said everyone knows what it is like to have a family where some deal with alcoholism or depression. he said that in the end we all grow up in the same schools while we live next to each other as neighbors.
In a way i was speechless, what he said all sounded true. Then i got angry and disillusioned. That very same party has its own news media, and somehow the government sponsored news media allowed him to make an emotional appeal and never asked him the difficult questions. Now i will be active on that news website known as visir.is, i will try to force that news-group to become the enemy of that party known as the independence party.

Walk into the visir.is offices armed with a minigun and have the chairman of the party which is leaning on the right shot outside his house by a man you don't know (and neither does he).

No. I don't want that nor do i think it will work. However the independence party is well known for its backing of Christianity and many of the their old loyalists are christians. I can maybe start a campaign where i reveal them as anything but Christians. I will remind them what Jesus once said, that its the poor who sacrifice their meals who are the biggest donors of charity rather then the rich who donate coins they have enough of and always will.
I am going to bring into attention their shameless alliance with the upper classes of Iceland as they continue to raise taxes on the poor while lowering the taxes on the rich.

I am cautious of that method. I am told that it has already been tried in Britain, that some man gained a lot of power by buying almost all of the newspaper business. What he ended up with was a media which ignored political issues but focused on personal flaws which everyone has.
In that interview that i mentioned, he also talked about the different climate the media now operates in. He said that it appears that now when everyone can instantly comment on a news articles, the comments are immoral and mean because everyone comment behind a mask.
I think i know better, its not the people who are being discussed who i should attack with my words, but i should attack the news website (and therefor nespaper) whenever it is nice and courteous to the opposition.

The funny thing is that this party is not the conservative party, the icelandic conservative party is very much out of the game by now. They once managed to bring a lesbian PM to power who outlawed stripping clubs.

Also, i can easily enter every church mass in iceland. I am sure that by some trickery and personal domination of intepretation, i can be allowed to spread my hatred of the independence party. There is already some minimal talk about the formation of a christian social democrat party.

It may be a tricky thing to pull, since the only party that supports Christianity in Iceland as is exactly the independence party. However recently the independence party removed laws that make that blasphemy punishable.
