Well, they didn't quite try ban video games, did they? They just banned them from public as a side-effect of a hamfisted attempt to curb gambling. Still shit, but not quite as bad as trying to simply ban video games. And hey, it says that the law was eventually revoked.

The fault lies with those who turned their backs on these gods, not the gods themselves. When was the last time anyone in Greece made any sacrifices or paid any homage to Plutus or Tyche?
