It's a kinda interesting behaviour. Personally, I don't think I really display any anger or anything at your trolling. Is it just the fact that I respond at all? Are you expecting me to crack, eventually? I'd be interested to get your viewpoint on your trolling., were you the sort to give it. How often do you troll people? What are your aims with it?

Yeah, that's probably the reason, I guess. I think that the quieter/less combatative namefags tend to be left alone by the local trolls.
I read about an interesting study about trolls, recently. In a nutshell, it found that people who listed trolling as their favourite online activity were higher in narcissism, machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism. Now I'm certainly not saying that means anyone who trolls is actually a full-blown sadist or a psychopath or anything like that, but it's interesting to me how habitual Internet trolls might have certain elements to their personality that make them enjoy it more.
