I think it's gone beyond a meme. I think it's entered our culture's dialect, just like fora, sprite, and thanks did.

Also, fun fact, one time IRL I had the urge to answer "write in: not sure" when somebody asked me something. I may spend too much time here...

On multiple occasions I have had to catch myself so that I don't say "x is a symptom of autism. As a person suffering from autism y" etc.
