The raw numbers are compelling but how many of the US ones were justified? I'm sure some of them have to be. I'd like to see the police demilitarized and armed with a .38 special revolver instead of Glocks and AR 15s and whatever else they have nowadays. The problem is, neither major party will touch the police.
