When I was around ten, my older cousin gave me a box of books. One of them was the true crime tome called A Perfect Victim and its about a woman named Colleen Stan who was tortured and kept as a sex slave.
It was my first true crime book, and within a chapter in I knew that my life would never be the same.
Do any of you have childhood incidents that effect your adult life?
