What exactly are you asking?
Which season is better? Which lesbian pairing is better?
Please be more specific.
If the latter then that is a crack pairing so therefore I do not ship it. Korra and Asami are a canon pairing.
If the former, I'll probably say The Legend of Korra season four provided some more interesting storytelling with the whole Earth Empire thing where as season three of Avatar the Last Airbender felt like it could have added more. But really I would say in terms of quality they'd be about equal.

I was actually thinking combat. Specifically, ATLAB characters vs. TLOK characters and I was trying to come up with pairings that would be somewhat equal. What characters from one series do you think would be, more or less, evenly matched to fight characters from the other series?

I know that Toph in her prime might have been able to take early-season one and two headstrong Korra. When the two characters actually met Toph was an elder and Korra had PTSD so I wouldn't count that as a fair fight.
