Topic: That feel when America is slowly embracing what the Romans believed.

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago #43,318

The Romans didn't care who one fucked (unless they were on the bottom) and weren't all that discriminative. They had Jews within their borders and yet they didn't condemn them, they just thought they were odd.

The U.S. is the true heir to the Roman Empire.

I once heard in a movie, that new york city is the rome of america. I was kind of disapointed by how they replaced the twin towers. That freedom tower isnt iconic at all.

There was a terrorist attack on the twin towers. America never replaced them.
They just erected a new building in it's place.

But I predict that building will be attacked on September 11, 3001.

Enough time to make steel beams that don't get melted by jet fuel

It's pretty cool looking. The construction going on makes it pretty awkward to walk around but I have no issue with it architecturally.

I must have missed something the first time because I have no idea why this jet fuel melting steel is a recurring joke.

"America" is two continents populated with dozens of countries. Which of those countries are you referring to?
