Yes, because some of them are obscured by the swastika. This is what the "confederate flag" (really just the flag of Robert E Lee's Northern Virginia Army – it was never the flag of the CSA) normally looks like. If you count the stars they add up to 13: one for each confederate state

Edit:somehow the image got messed up but if you click it it looks fine.

Or did you mean what did the shape of the stars in the OP mean? They're pentagrams so I would guess Wicca.
