Topic: Do any of you fags play or have played Dark Souls?

I know many of you have steam accounts and are casual gamers but I never see anyone talk about Dark Souls. It's easly one of the best modern RPGs of all time with Dark Souls being a pure masterpiece of game design and while Dark Souls 2 is not as good as the first it still stands out as an epic piece of work with its main flaw being not as good as DS1. Why does no one comment on this game especially with Dark Souls 3 coming next year?
Green is excused from this ofc as he even finds Fallout too hard.

its kind of annoying, never really got into it because dying over and over is not my cup of tea

i played it. it's pretty cool. never beat it though, didn't get super into it. not my fav genre nor aesthetic. good mechanics, skill based gameplay, rewards perseverance. but, got tired of it.

That's always an early impression of it as it does have a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it becomes amazing

yeah, i couldn't be bothered to get past that. i think i got to a pair of skeletons blocking the way somewhere and dying about 50 times trying to get past them and then putting the game down and never picking it back up.

If you feel like trying again I reccomend this walkthrough
No idea what this is. For all I know it's just boring.

Exactly this. Those skeletons let me know how it was going to be.
I don't mind some challenge in my games, but I couldn't see myself enjoying what Dark Souls offered. I liked its worldbuilding, though.

Are you talking about those skeletons in the grave yard next to Firelink shrine? They are really for late game when you have returned with the Lordvessel around level 60. You should watch a guide.

Yep. But it's too late, refunded it now. Bought Dishonoured instead.
It probably wasn't a great idea to put high level content right in one of the first areas. Apparently, it can give people the wrong idea. They could've at least left one of those floor messages.

How did you refund it? How long did you have it? I've heard stories of people getting refunds on games weeks and months old. I have loads of trash on my steam account

Just type Steam Refund into Google, and there's an option within the Steam site that comes up.
The time parameters for returning a game are less than two hours playtime and less than two weeks after purchasing. I'd ot had Dark Souls a few days and had played it for less than two hours, so I was well within that.
