Its not such a secret that the christian churches and institutions are almost infected with pedophilia. The standard defense of those churches and institutions is to play the victim card, to act as if pedophilia is an outside force that infiltrates. The thing is though that in a way, this could not be true. Feminism for example would have us believe that patriarchy is a carefully created order on behalf of men rather then just a group of men with ill intentions infiltrating society. If you are aware that human beings are not at all rational or moral but rather driven by thoughts and desires of which they are unaware of, if the unconscious mind really does exist, then clearly a ideology just like Christianity, can affect the unconscious mind.
I am asking this because in a way i am worried. All the time i see children, particularly boys, being painted as people who are able to make their own sexual decisions. Like it is not uncommon knowledge that boys of the age 11 are on average already heavy porn users yet nobody does anything about it do they? Combine this with a welfare state or a utopia, where the need for a second income generated by a man is removed, then well, it looks like women will choose the easy path when it comes to a lover, someone manageable and defenseless.

I don't really know what you mean here. You mean the ratio for pedophiles is the same amongst all professions? I do not really agree with that, the common knowledge is that pedophiles choose jobs where there is a abundant supply of contact with children. In a way i think that its not that the pedophiles choose those jobs, its more like the jobs turn them into pedophiles.
Typically any job which deals with children is of course destined to have a special view of children, i think that is where things get ugly. I think that is the level where the way you look at children gets messed with in a unconscious and unnoticed way.

I think that in the Catholic church, you might find more situational pedophiles. Because they have less contact with adult females, and also because they are not allowed to marry or date. So hidden, child sex is easier for them.

Well if this is true, doesn't it warrant the concern of how things are going? If sexual behavior becomes more accepted among boys, and the decline of marriages and sexual contact with adult females and adult males continues.... Then isn't it clear what is happening?

but that's not true. there is no higher incident of pedophiles in the catholic church compared to other professions.
i'll find that stats on that when i get home, because it's actually been looked into and dismissed as being no higher than any other profession. catholics don't have more pedophiles than the general population.

the catholics got a bad rap for not reporting and then protecting pedophiles to try and save the churches image. they are guilty of harboring known pedos, not having a higher number than is usual.

I don't really watch any anime. I did watch Dragon Ball Z, and recently re-watched bits of it with my dad. Apart from that, I plan to watch the anime of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure once I've read the manga.

again, the problem isn't the number or ratio of pedophiles within religious groups, it's the cover-up that's the scandal. it's been pretty well researched (the catholic church abuses) and they've not found a higher ratio of pedophiles in religious orders than they find in the overall population.
and there hasn't been a plumber pedophile scandal because plumbers don't stand there and act as a mouthpiece for god. it's a much bigger scandal when a "Holy Man" commits an atrocity than when some average schmuck does it.
