breaking people on the wheel was pretty bad, but the pyramid up the ass thing was pretty bad. they'd suspend you by the arms over a big sharp pyramid shaped thing which would slowly split you open as they shoved it up your ass.
also the bronze bull was pretty bad sounding. but yeah, necklacing is probably one of the worst.

According to the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, in humans, “breathing an oxygen deficient atmosphere can have serious and immediate effects, including unconsciousness after only one or two breaths. The exposed person has no warning and cannot sense that the oxygen level is too low.
So Helium sure qualifies and is used in USA to kill chickens
No clue Y US is so retarded about getting rid of human filth. Other then it sure makes Attorney's rich as shit trying to prevent it.

Christians should be given an option for death by lions as well as crucifixion.

@OP
To the best of my knowledge, crucifixion is legal as long as the subject gives his/her consent. For example, if a person has a sexual fetish for re-enacting the stations of the cross, he/she can be beaten, whipped and nailed to a crucifix as long as all parties consent and no permanent injury (or death) ensue as a result.
