It's the new Windows 8 Explorer shell.I'm not looking forward to using it personally but I'm looking forward to others using it.

I like the ribbon in Office but I'm not sure if it'll work right in Explorer.

If you don't like the new interface, it's already been stated you can turn it off. Personally I'm worried it might take up too much space.
