Topic: What's with Disney's latest ideas?

Inside Out is an absolutely stupid concept that doesn't work even in the half-hour half-assed cartoon format, and Zootopia is honestly just furbait.

How come they haven't put out a good movie since Wreck-it Ralph?

Disney is starting to go downhill since the extremely overrated Frozen. Yes, it was a great movie, but yes it was also very overrated.

Inside Out is Pixar, mora.
Wreck-it Ralph was Disney studios.

I don't understand the scene where the girl is nude with panties on her head and she's wiggling her ass at her dad and slapping her own ass, as if saying "cum and get it daddy", terrible, terrible

How can the animals in Zootopia be considered anthropomorphic if "humans never happened"?

exactly. it's got the hype of an 11/10, the marketing campaign of an 8/10 and the actual quality of a 4/10.

I know. Overhyped as fuck. I heard all the songs soooooo many times before the movie even came out due to my younger cousins. Would ever shut the fuck up. The whole fucking soundtrack all god damn day on repeat. Sorry for the aggressiveness.

It's just so fuckin' annoying to hear kids scream singing bullshit songs. Another problem I had with this movie is that I was able to pretty much tell what was going to happen the whole time. No mystery, too obvious.

i think the only thing i really got out of this movie that i hadnt seen before was the sly double meanings in that one song but other than that i remember lots of "eugh really they went there?"

olaf wasnt as annoying as i anticipated but it was still really annoying

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess that you two aren't in Frozen's target demographic.

Really? A movie about singing teenaged princesses isn't meant to be watched by adult men? Shocking.

i like how pixar movies are cognizant that adults are there watching with kids and tailor a lot of "high level" content towards parents. not all animated movies do that, and so i appreciate it when i have to sit through something like that and i can enjoy it too. but yeah, the disney princess movies don't really have much of anything for grown men to care about.

vocalon !74TdoRkjCc (OP) replied with this 11 years ago, 3 minutes later, 22 hours after the original post[^] [v] #568,688

@previous (squeegee)
thats not true tho. i can appreciate the artistic aspects of most of them like the way its animated or how it twists the tropes of the disney princess but frozen was like, babys first disney movie in that its animation is okay at best, the character designs were super boring, especially considering bh6's designs, while different from the comic its based on's designs were still unique in that they werent all doe-eyed and button-nosed

frozen feels like it was made out of marketing and not out of desire to tell a story
