doesn't look like one. making something to be scandalous doesn't make it important, and portraying nazi's as brutal isn't brave or groundbreaking or anything like that. it's just a well understood historical fact, and one that probably doesn't need violent imagery to reinforce.
it looks "controversial" for the sake of being controversial and that actually makes it pretty pedestrian and puts it into the same category of film as Caligula.
