However, I have no support system and therapy didn't cut it before. I've been thinking maybe I should just get myself a life sentence for something. Like bank robbery. My only issue is I feel I would be too good at it, and I would become accustomed to the thrill and the cash before I was eventually caught (as always happens to people).
I watch jail tv programs and I romanticize what it's like to be in prison. I ignore the shitty food and lifestyles, and just think of it as an easy out of society. Would I be better off becoming homeless?

Why not try building up some capital and then homesteading?

Dude, woah, I literally had this idea for a while and just abandoned it. I was gonna raise chicken and goats.
My issue is debt and inability to earn money. I can't save. I'm kind of a pathetic loser. Like, I set goals and know what I need to do to meet those goals.
I figured id need between 200k - 700k just to purchase property. I have like 16k debt that's slowly dropping, but not really. I'm just a fuck up. I can't stick to anything. I can plan, but whne it comes time to execute, I just can't do it (I either don't care or get overwhelmed).

Well, if you are near 50, that is better than most Americans (are you American?). I think you can make a plan, pay off that debt in just a few months, do NOT buy anything else on credit, rent a cheap place, and start saving. If you are making that much, you could be saving $2,000 a month!

Honestly? You may have ADD. I know it's ridiculous to diagnose someone from just a few sentences, but that's the first thing that comes to mind.
You daydream a lot, have a hard time being punctual, make a lot of plans and have poor follow through, etc? It doesn't mean you do have ADD, but it's possible.
You can homestead for less or try and join something like an anarcho-commune... Although they're notoriously short lived.
You don't have to have 10+ acres and a treehouse mansion to homestead. 200k may be realistic depending on where you intend to do it but you really should research land more first.
Why not see a psychiatrist or even just a therapist anyway and get some actual help though, bud? You may not be mentally ill and medication may not be the answer for you, but psychiatry and counseling helped me a lot.

No I couldn't. My take home pay after taxes and charitable dedications is only 2300/month.
Also, I'm a fuck up. I've been trying to pay it off. It's not happening, and I can't just move to a cheaper place cause I don't have money for first/last/deposit. I want out of my apartment. Location is a+, but that's the only thing going for it other than my landlord doesn't seem to care I smoke weed.

Then why not stop contributing to charity (just until you get back on your feet)? Even if you take home $2,300, you could save at least half of that if you live frugally.

I'm 99.9% certain I have ADD. Yes to all that. I can't speak to a doctor about it because of crippling anxiety, though.

I know that mental illness is not a choice, but eventually, you have to choose to take control of the things that you can control. Medication really helps. Also, you need to be saving more than half of that income. Most humans on earth live just fine on substantially less than that. Stop giving to charity. Stop smoking pot. Save every penny. Pay off the debt. You have to decide to make these changes, or nothing will ever change.

I'm a really big fuck up. I don't think I can stick to a budget. Every paycheck I decide to, but it never works out. Also, I figure hardcore it would take two years to pay off my debt (my interest rates are high), and then to save up enough to buy any land would be at least 10 years if I got a second job. Ill be in my 40s by then, and I figure it's working really hard to have a lifestyle that's working very hard. It's not like there's a light at the end of tunnel. I can't even save up for a vacation.

Then declare bankruptcy and start over. Do something. You have to do something. You need someone to tell you these things harshly. Stop posting on a chan and go do something right now toward the goal of saving money. Call a bankruptcy lawyer. Get a second job. Something. Anything!

I've been on medication. It didn't help or made things worse. I know what you are saying is true. I'm adult. I accept that, but I still seem unable to take action on those points. I don't think my parents should have had children. Of my siblings, I'm doing the best. The others are complete fuck ups. I'm a strong believer in eugenics as a result.

What you are trying to convince everyone is.
1: You can make a decent living but cannot take control of yourself so you end up in debt.
2: You think prison is a way out because others will take control of your body and life. Food will suck. You asshole will be owned by others. You're going to hate it.
For a small fee you can pay a financial manager. Your pay check goes to them and they give you a basic allowance. They are also good at reducing your debt.

This. A financial manager is a great idea. Make them help you, and you get a small allowance to live on. It will be enough. Also, declare bankruptcy.

That's all the more reason to see a doctor, bud. I know it's tough, but I have faith in you, this is something you can do. You'll be better equipped to sort out your finances once you can deal with the mental clutter and anxiety or whatever is going on upstairs. All you have to do is make an appointment and show up. The dread you have is all in your head and despite that anxiety you are in control of your body and can drag yourself to an appointment. Hell, after one visit, and a month of being on the right meds, you could feel like a new person.
It's time to take your life back.

Just because you tried some medication doesn't mean it was the right meds. A lot of this is trial and error because everyone is different. What do you have to lose by seeing a psychiatrist? If you're considering resorting to something as drastic as bank robbery, then finding and seeing a doctor should be a piece of cake.

You clearly want to change your life, but that's no solution, bud. It's no more of a solution than knocking over a bank.
You have an idea of what you want, so go for it. There are others out there who want to homestead you could possibly join up with to share costs or you could even squat ffs. Squatting or moving to a country where the cost of living is low makes a lot more sense than offing yourself because life hasn't panned out the way you wanted. You need to work with the cards you're dealt, and it's within your power to improve your life and make something meaningful of it, you just have to find a route and start taking steps towards your goal. Start small and then build up to the bigger things. Even if your goal is just finding a doctor or getting to work on time. You can do this.

Ignore the unkind remarks here, but I do agree that medication (the right ones), a financial manager, stop charity, and bankruptcy are great ideas. Best of luck to you.
