It's not just a few but a large percentage of Americans. It's not normal to be that over pretective over a countries flag. If I see someone burning my flag or standing on it i think 'oh well they have a right to protest'

Book burning bothers me as well. I dont like it when people burn flags or bibles because I feel like they are trying to hurt people. I'm also enraged when anti abortion groups show enlarged photos of aborted fetuses to school children from accross the street.

oh, it was a gift, so i don't have it. still pretty cool though. took a while to cut out all the pages.
edit: oh and it had like a cool decorative leather cover, but it was cheap at the half-priced book store because it had some damage, but, all that got cut out anyway. like coffee stains and torn pages.
it actually got passed around as a gift at a gift exchange because no one wanted to read Moby Dick, but it was like the 5th person who got it that opened it and found the flask of 20yr old scotch :D
